Bruce MoundSki Patrol

The Bruce Mound Ski Patrol is dedicated to the safety of all skiers and boarders who enjoy the trails at Bruce Mound silagra. We encourage all users to ski or board safely. Please check out the safety tips here.

Membership

The Bruce Mound Ski Patrol is always looking for new members. Ski patrol members are asked to work a minimum of 3 shifts per month, and in return members can earn a family pass of up to 5 units. One unit equals one season pass or one season rental. If you are interested in joining the Bruce Mound Ski Patrol please fill out the online form below.

Training

Ski patrol candidates must complete a Toboggan Handling Class to learn how to use and operate rescue toboggans. This year's class will start in January of 2009 plavix. There is no cost to this course strattera. Watch this page for more information on this course.

Candidates must also complete the Outdoor Emergency Care course. Outdoor Emergency CareĀ® is the National Ski Patrol's award-winning training program for patrollers and others in the recreation community who deal with emergency situations. This nationally recognized program is designed to help you manage the toughest emergencies, in all seasons. Developed in the late 1980s for the 26,000 members of the National Ski Patrol, Outdoor Emergency Care is a training program that is tailored to the nonurban rescuer. This course demands 80 to 100 hours of class and study time and costs $150. A course for Bruce Mound Ski Patrol candidates will be offered in mid-September of 2009.

The National Ski Patrol is a member-driven professional organization of registered ski patrols, patrollers and others, both paid and volunteer. The NSP supports its members through credentialed education and training in leadership, outdoor emergency care, safety and transportation services, which enables members to serve the community in the safe enjoyment of outdoor recreation.
